The chat apps Archie works with
- Telegram, Discord, Slack, Matrix, and on a Mac, iMessage, in the thread you have with yourself.
- Archie does not connect to WhatsApp.

How do I talk to my agent when I am away from my computer?
You can send it a message in a chat app, such as Telegram. On a Mac, your agent can also reply in the iMessage chat you have with yourself.
You can chat inside Archie, too. The full list of supported chat apps is below this video.
Try a message such as, "Remind me about the water bill on Friday." Your agent answers in the same chat.
Your message passes through the chat company's computers, then reaches the computer running your agent. The reply comes back the same way.
The chat company carries these messages, just as it carries other messages sent through its app.
You connect the chat app once. For Telegram, you first create a bot, a special chat contact for your agent. Then you send that bot the code Archie gives you. The setup video shows each step.
