Where does Archie keep the codes it uses to reach my accounts?

Your computer has a built-in place for passwords. Think of it as a locked safe. On a Mac, it is called Keychain. On Windows, it is called Credential Manager. It opens with the password you use to sign in to your computer.

An app may use a special code, called a key, to connect to an account. Archie keeps your AI key and the keys for your connected accounts in this password store.

Otian, the company behind Archie, cannot read the keys stored there. When your agent uses a key, Archie sends it only to the company that key belongs to.

This is one reason your computer's password matters. Choose one that is hard to guess, and do not share it.
