Why does my computer keep asking if I'm sure?
Your computer may ask before it opens a new app. It may also ask before an app uses your files, camera, or microphone.
Read the message before you answer. Check the app's name and what it wants to do.
Does it name the app you chose to install from the company's website? That can be a normal part of setup.
Does it name something you do not recognize? Did it appear when you were doing something else? Choose No.
Your computer cannot know which website you meant to use. You still need to check the website and the name in the message.
