Which Macs and Windows computers run Archie

  • Mac: macOS 12 Monterey or later, on Apple silicon or Intel.
  • Windows: Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
  • Download Archie from its install page, which lists the rest of what it needs.

Will Archie work on the computer I have?

Archie runs on a Mac or a Windows computer. Your agent cannot run on a Chromebook, an iPad, or a phone. You can use your phone to talk to it later, but the agent runs on your computer.

Not sure which computer you have? A Mac has an Apple logo and an Apple menu in the top corner of the screen. A Windows computer has a Start button on the bar along the bottom.

Your computer needs a supported version of its system software. Check the list below this video to see which versions work.

It also needs a steady internet connection and a place where it can stay plugged in and turned on.

A laptop can work. A desktop may be easier because it usually stays in one place.
