Move your agents into Archie for Teams#
When you hire, save a backup in Archie and open it in Archie for Teams, and your agents arrive with their knowledge, lists, routines and memory.
- Where it is
- In Archie, on the Account page, under Backups. In Archie for Teams, the first run asks Have you used Archie before? with Open a backup.
- How to use it
- In Archie, open the Account page and choose Backups.
- Press Save a backup.
- In Archie for Teams, press Open a backup and pick the file.
- Reconnect your accounts from the list it shows.
- Limits
- Keys and sign-ins do not come across, so you reconnect your accounts once, from a list.
- It goes one way only.
- Archie keeps its own copy of each agent, so press Stop on each one there.
- Opening it replaces the agents already in Archie for Teams, which are kept in a folder and can be put back.
Team Starter pack#
A new Archie for Teams agent starts with Team Starter: a shared to-do list, a record of who took which job, web lookups, and a personality naming who it answers.
- Where it is
- In the Marketplace, Team Starter holds Task Manager, Who's Got This, Researcher, and The Team Assistant. On the first run, Who is on my team? puts "On my team:" in the message box.
- From your phone
- Archie Mobile's store lists Team Starter when the paired computer runs Archie for Teams.
- Limits
- It goes on a new agent without asking, the way Everyday Assistant does on Archie.
- Archie for Teams only. It is not in the store on Archie.
What a teammate saved, told to you#
When someone on your team tells your agent something that adds to or changes one of your lists, you get a message saying what they saved. Under their reply, they see that you are told.
- Where it is
- In your own chat with the agent, on the computer and your phone.
- From your phone
- A teammate on Archie Mobile on an iPhone gets the same button to copy a text or open it in Messages, and the same card for entries Archie drafted, that you get.
- Limits
- List saves only. Mail, drafts and calendar changes are not told, and neither are your own.
- It is a notice after the fact. Nothing waits for your yes.
- A teammate's card of drafted entries has no Undo.
- On a chat app a teammate gets no button, and Archie says so.
